Re: Summer of 2009
Beautiful.
I always really enjoy your posts, the fish are stunning and the streamside scenery is great as well. Streams are similar the world over but the little differences are what I enjoy. I know you say the fishing is not the best in the world and the fish are small but that's a small part of the whole experience and I would love to visit and fish in your country. I'm sure 99.9% of us would.
Thank you for taking us on the journey.

Fabulous post Sotoshi. The waters look so familiar yet the fish look so exotic. It's really a thrill to see the trout and char of your country.
Thanks for sharing!

Superb photos, great storytelling, and wonderful fish. Isn't it amazing how a trout stream looks like a trout stream the world over?

Satoshi,
I really enjoyed your photos and stories! Thanks for sharing!!! Funny how those places and your experiences remind me a lot of the places I've been in the western US... I plan on hitting Japan once my book gets out, and I'd really like to get some pics. of the native fish. Maybe for another book... ;)
