VINTAGE L Hitchock Round Stool with Painted Rainbow Trout Stencil Seat Chair:

For sale is a L. Hitchcock round 3 legged stool, with a painted stencil of a Rainbow Trout on the seat. Legs are painted black with gold banding. Underside of the stool has the words \"L. Hitchcock. Hitchcocks-ville, Conn. Warranted\" The stool is in very nice shape for the age of it, though there are some small signs of wear occasionally, this is why I added photos from a few extra angles. I tried to find examples with this same stenciled Rainbow Trout, but was unable to do so, leading me to believe it wasn\'t produced in as great a quantity as some of the other similar styles.
The stool is about 18 inches tall, and the round seat is about 15 inches at its widest.
