Will, small world. If it's the same fleaflicker you know, I may have spoken to him in the past. Regarding the bamboo, it's my first, and I'm already in love! :D

Great pics. I like the looks of your streams and your trout. I could see myself hunched over while sneeking around on those streams. I especially like the last pic. Thanks

Re: Hello from South Wales
Great pics, especially the one of the trouts fin! So much detail...
Are those creeks spring creeks or freestone? A few look really "springy" and others look more like freestones?
Just curious from across the pond.

Flea! Small world eh! Good to see you on here man! And re: the above, yup, you know Grizz! :D Although that said, last time I spoke to him he was drooling over the Hardy Glass range...he'll try a cane one day! haha
jdm5047, the images are a mix of the freestone streams in South Wales, and I threw in one or two pics of the southern chalk streams (Salisbury area). The freestoners here in Wales are pretty much all fed from wild mountain springs, or from the odd reservoir. Our reservoirs are more for water storage for human consumption though...I think yours are more for water control? Is that right? As such, our reservoirs Don't feed the sort of 'tailwaters' that you guys have, although I'd love to be able to fish one.
Thanks for the thumbs up again guys :) Hope you all have a very merry Christmas!!

garethl,
Beautiful pics as before :D .
I love those very flat streams, which we dnon't have here. I guess, in those streams, you probably have many "match the hatch" fishing opportunities.

Wow... cool... How'd I miss this earlier?
Our fishing for next year has still to be decided, depending on jobs and free time and stuff but we're hoping to hit Wales. These pics just make me want to visit even more.
Excellent as always Gareth.
