3. purchased from NH estate
4.very good condition, not perfect, some small repairs
5.leather hinges are a repair, probably had thin wrapped splint hinges
6. woven strap is an old belt, see photo
7. front closure loop is a replacement, loop attached to basket is original
8. small peg used to hold closed is a replacement
9. splint is in good condition, no holes, very solid
10. overall this is in very good condition
