Item Description:

Up for sale is a classic, heavy-duty Vintage Ritchie Globemaster Marine Binnacle Compass manufactured by E.S. Ritchie & Sons out of Pembroke, Massachusetts, this is a premium-grade piece of maritime navigation hardware built to withstand ocean environments.

This unit features a stainless steel cylindrical binnacle housing for sailboats and yachts. It utilizes a high-visibility flat black dial card with crisp white and gold orientation markings.

• Markings: The face prominently displays the classic "RITCHIE" logo arch. The riveted front manufacturer's plate remains attached to the lower base shroud. The internal tracking ID plate on the underside collar is marked with "Pembroke, MASS".

• Wiring: has a wire lead underneath the housing. Not tested.

• Condition Notes: This is a authentic vintage marine item showing used character. The stainless steel shroud has reflective finish with some salt water stains that can be buffed off i’m sure and minor age-surface scuffs and bumps- see photo. The interior dial card is intact, well-centered on its pivot needle, and free-moving. The glass has some scratches on the glass - see photos.

The underside assembly shows typical minor saltwater oxidization patina on the raw metal mounting ring as pictured.
