They were used for fishing with seine and gill nets. They have been nicknamed bananna or wafer floats.Most are white.They each measure about 2"- 2.5inches wide and 7-9" long.Size, colorand shape will vary! Its just way to much work to try to match shapes and sizes exact! They have2 holes in each end for stringing them up or tying them to a net.Some still have the origianl rope tied to them.They would look great hanging on a porch, fence, or a room with a nautical or maritime theme. A lot of people use these for crafts and art projects. Some will need some extra washing. All are in good usedbeachcombed condition. They would be a great addition to a collection of floats or maritime items! These sell for $2-$3 a piece at the coastal tourist shops!
