An exquisite silver plated fish eating set for 12,ie knives and fork.This is encased in a mahogany box that is green satin lined, crack to the lid.All the handles feature a large shell on the top. There are vertical waves extending to an unidentifiable scrolling sea flower. The handles are the same on both the knives and forks. The tines of the forks are highlighted with a scrolling piece of seaweed. This design is echoed on the tip and back of the blade. In between there is an engraved leaping fish splashing back into the sea. There are 24 pieces altogether. Acquired from a Newport RI estate. Hallmarks on the back for Walker and Hall, Sheffield England, EP over a B( meaning Electro Plated Britannia metal) also a registration number. Plating in fine consistent condition. Photographed in as found estate condition, minor wear from age and use, will be gently hand polished prior to shipping unless advised otherwise!
