On offer today is a very good set of 3 fish knives.Assayed inSheffield by highly regarded makers Walker and Hall.Theyare dated Sheffield,1894-year letter b. Hallmarks are deep and clear to back of handles.
A quite beautiful set.
Pattern is simply beautiful with a scalloped end and a fish to each blade. I have never seen fish eaters in this pattern!!For reference of scale the length of eachfish knife is 8.375 inches. Each piece is made of very thick gauge silver throughout.
Total combinedweight is a hefty 159 grams (5.11 troy ounces).
They are all engraved R andhave plenty of life left in them yet.Definitely no erasures either.
Afunctionallate Victorian lot in this highly desirable pattern.

Terrificfish eaters for sure.
