WI Barn Find Antique Primitive Fishing Spear with Reel, Cord, 2 Nets Lot:
$27.00

Wisconsin Barn Find near Lake Michigan! I spoke to my father regarding this item trying to make sense of the reelbeing attached to the spear. His explanation was so that if the fish took off with the spear in it, they would reel in thespear and all and not lose his spear. Makes sense, I guess!
The spear and handle are solid. The entire length is 51" to the end of the spear. The tines are 4.5" in total width with approximately 1" in between each of them. The points are 5" long.
The reel is approximately 2 1/4" in diameter x 2 1/2" long. The cord used appears to be original.
The large net measures approximately 18' x 38" wide and is in very good shape. The smaller net is 4' x 4.5" and does are a tear in one of the corners (examine picture). Please examine ALL pictures carefully since this item is an antique and sometimes is not perfect. I have describedit to the best of my knowledge. If you have any questions or need additional photos, please contact me. I do not acceptreturns, but will be willing to rectify any issue you may have after receiving item. Also worth noting, since MOST of myitems are big andbulky;I do make my own boxes from recycled cardboard.
