Vintage Japanese Tansu Wood Drawer Box Used for Fishing Tackle & Reel KobakoMeasures 8.25" wide by 12" high by 12" deep. Lift off door cover protects three drawers of varying sizes behind. Handle on top for carrying. Made of Hinoki (Cypress) and Kirinoki (Paulownia) woods. Constructed using Japanese straight dovetail joinery technique and hardened wooden nails.
Previous owner who lived in Japan used this as a tackle box so all tackle gear as shown is included in this listing. Age of this box is from the 1950's.
