Vintage Fish Market Fish Restaurant Sign Folk Art Handcrafted Trout:
$2350.00

Large size and hand-crafted metal trout sign. I have only seen this art three other times and I own one of the three which is a salmon. I am not 100% sure of its origin but I believe these where handcrafted in France. To commission one of these to be built would be cost prohibitive unless cost is no issue. The workmanship is simply beautiful. I was told this handcrafted trout is made of zinc or possibly tin. You can hang this from a Fish Market Sign which would be iconic or display it in your home like I have. The last photo shows the trout displayed from a hanger that will be included with the sale. This would also be an outstanding addition to a bait and tackle shop. A true conversation piece. I am uncertain of the age but be sure that it shows signs of aging. There is crazing of the paint and some marks from use but all of this is just patina and lends perfectly to the overall presentability. Please contact me with any questions and zoom in on the photos, they should answer most of your questions. Thanks a lot for looking. Peace be with you.

Note: Shipping, handling and insurance are included in the sales price to the lower 48 states.
