Vintage wooden spool of silk thread.
Corticelli brand with the Kitty Cat logo printed on the spool
Appears to be approximately half full, i do not know how much thread is on the spool.
This is a sort of lilac purple shade.
There are some chips on end of spool, See photos.

Not tested for machine sewing.This is a true antique/vintage spool of thread, frequently used in hand sewing applications as well as fly fishing. I am not an expert, and have not tested it for strength, and cannot guarantee how it will perform should you wish to use it for something other than decorative use.
