The Imperial centrepin is the first reel to succeed their Arnold-Kingpin centrepins. It has been completely re-designed using state of the art CAD/CAM software, laying the foundations for all the models they offer today. A timeless classic that has all the features you'd ever need in a quality float fishing reel. It is very comfortable in the hand due to its exposed edges. The palming rim is the best design in the industry. No 'hot spots' from trying to stop an angry fish on the run downstream! Both the spool and the backplate are Defense Standard Type3 hard anodised for scratch resistance. Kingpin pride themselves on solid build, refined craftsmanship, and sleek design.Thomas Turner are proud to release this Imperial reel, developed in collaboration with Kingpin in exclusive olive green to compliment our brand new Thomas Turner Classic+ rods. The reel is in a special 4.25" size and they are in a limited edition numbered run to 25, but only numbers 2-5 are currently available (the rest will be available soon).
