ROYAL DOULTON PORCELAIN Signed TROUT FISH PLATE c1925 New York DAVIS COLLAMORE
Superb quality hand decorated porcelain fish plate by Royal Doulton circa 1925. Two trout from their fish range signed in the image by the artist C. HOLLOWAY. Fine garland border in heavy raised gilt. Retailed by David Collamore & Co of New York.
Marks: ROYAL DOULTON transfer logo; retailer mark DAVID COLLAMORE & Co Ltd, 7 & 9 EAST 52nd ST, NEW YORK - Decorator details hand written along the rim plus the title 'SAMON' TROUT.
Dimensions: approx 9½ inches diameter.
A few very minor rubs to the gilt highlights but overall excellent condition.
