Brass tsuba attributed to the Shonai school and shown in pics 1-3. A similar one with variation of geese flying overhead instead of moon and stars is shown in pics 4-5 for comparison. Pic 3 shows the squared rim of fukurin style.This tsuba has so many different elements incorporated through different color mixed metals (shakudo and gold).The nanako hammered effect appears to be a bit worn on the front, well-preserved on the back.
