Shallow spool for fast line recovery. Unusual multi-hole design and waisted brass stanchion secured at the front with a wing nut. Popular after c1900 in the North of England, Scarborough reels are used for rock, pier and boat fishing. A great collectors reel, it runs smooth and well and still can be fished today.
