Just a beautiful table lamp by Hawkes. Blown glass base with controlled air bubbles and a fish bowl design to the main part of it. The bottom two pieces do show uranium glass, so it at least helps to date this. Basically, it's old and an antique.
There are brass fittings around the top of the glass and the connection to the top of the lamp. The whole top is actually intended to be removed. It very nicely slides and locks into place with a little pin on the side. I took some photos of that. That is also where you can see the "Hawkes" mark.
It measures about 10.5" in height, to the top of the glass, and roughly 5.5" at its widest part.
It appears to be in excellent condition. I did NOT try to clean the inside of the glass, but it is a little cloudy but for sure can be soaked and cleaned. There are lines throughout the main part of the glass, which you should be able to see in the photos. I'm pretty sure they are intended and original to when it was made. There are no chips that I see. It definitely has been rewired along the way and it has a "modern" plug.
