Set against a rich black background with multicolor enamels and highlighted with gilt detailing, the imagery symbolizes longevity, harmony, and prosperity.
The bowl is marked on the base with the Tongzhi reign mark (1862–1874), likely indicating a later homage piece in the Tongzhi style.
