Much obliged, Packerpatch.This vintage picture button features a brass tone paddle wheel steamer boat theme with rich treble gilt back markings. The button measures approximately 7/8\" and dates back to the civil war era in the 1860s. While the button is missing its back shank and is not ready to be used, it would be suitable for display purposes. The button was created by T.W. & W. and is an antique original. Despite some cosmetic issues, including the broken off and missing back shank, this button would make a great addition to any collection and is a unique piece of history.
