Outstanding Antique 4 Piece Walking Stick Fishing Rod Bamboo Rare:

I have sold a few unusual walking sticks but this is easily my favourite of them all.
A rare, antique bamboo construction 4 piece walking stick which morphs into a 124 inch long fishing rod!
This is an incredible piece, with each section of the rod fitting inside the other to completely morph back into the walking stick which measures 36 inches (91cm)
The rod appears to have all the eyelets still attached and really is in very good overall condition for the age and use.
The outer case has some splitting as is often the case with bamboo. I’ve tried to photograph this but it’s very hard to see. The bamboo is bound, so it’s not going anywhere, but you can feel it if you squeeze the case. The bottom ferrel also has a split (last picture). Neither of these really affect the item though and it’s a brilliant addition to any stick or fishing collection.
I don’t accept returns, however I like this so much that if you don’t like it for any reason, I will give you a full refund (buyer pays return postage) and happily take it back!
