…… Signed in the lower right-hand corner, “Dante,” this large mid-century, abrstract Acrylic Painting is executed on on paper-covered masonite. It is by the Italian-American Modernist painter, sculptor and teacher, Giglio Raphael Dante (1916 - 2007). Measuring 22” by 28” this large acrylic painting has been executed over a bumpy sandpaper texture and it depicts an abstract design with the skeleton of a fish in the center. The artist has titled it on the back of the masonite, “Fluid Beginning by Giglio Dante.” In our close-up photographs you can see some edge loss to the paper however, this would be hidden once the painting is properly framed. There are no other problems, or any restorations plus you will find that this sale, Giglio Dante Abstract Painting has been listed without any reserve!
