Up for sale is a very rare antique 18th century hand wrought iron fireplace flue latch/handle.It's wrought by hand out of very thick iron, is a heavy piece, and has acquired a lovely patina from age.The piece has a mountable bracket and a squared shafts that slides through when opening and closing.It features a large swirled iron handle and is in great working condition.The latch measures 19 inches long without measuring the handle.The handle alone measures 9 inches long by 1 1/2 inches wide.Thank you for visiting "Dusty Treasures " and please feel free to browse through
