Antique very RARE Gorham Narragansett style pattern, sterling silver .925, cast fish handle, souvenir teaspoon, & is NOT monogrammed. This exquisitely detailed Aesthetic aquatic figural design features a cast fish handle, with detailed decor on both sides. The bowl is rare & features the Old Mill Southampton Long Island 1640. These spoons are often described as Narragansett, but it is not of that pattern, but made at the same time period & are hard to come by. The spoon measures approximately 5 1/4 inches long, & weighs .525 ozt. The back of the spoon is marked H6 Gorham lion anchor G mark & sterling.The spoon is in very good antique estate condition as follows;NO DENTS OR REPAIRS. THERE IS SOME SCRATCHING & WEAR IS CONSISTENT WITH THE AGE OF THE PIECE & NORMAL USAGE. THERE IS GLARE & REFLECTION IN SOME OF THE 12 PHOTOS.
