This Francis 1st fish serving fork is 9.5\" long and weighs 142 grams.This fork has a lovely back monogram, done in nice art nouveau script lettering, EJC I think.
From Reed & Barton\'s best selling and perhaps America\'s most popular antique flatware pattern, this fish serving fork is an early piece in it\'s production with beautiful pierced work above the tines.
Another indicator of age in this piece is how it\'s hallmarked, in this case with the Redd & Barton hallmarks and sterling, but also a small rectangular stamp with the patent date June 25, 07-- this mark being found on only the earlier pieces of Francis 1.
