Chinese Famille Rose Fish Bowl Planter Rare Lotus Pond w Crane Design & Goldfish:
$499.00

This listing features a RARE larger Chinese fish bowl or 'planter' type pot that depicts a scene of a lotus pond with cranes, with the traditional Famille Rose pink overglaze giving the scene a pink iridescent sky over colorful blues and greens. The white interior of the pot also has a full color decoration of bright orange goldfish and green seaweed. There's a ring on the bottom interior from use. The exterior of the top rim features a motif of butterflies and flowers. I have included pictures from multiple sides so that you can see all aspects of its striking decoration. There is one very small (like a half inch) chip along the outer edge of the top rim and a smaller flake in the glaze only a little to the right of the chip, photo provided, but these are hardly noticeable and there is NO other damage such as larger chips or cracks. There are NO cracks and it rings when tapped. Made from a high quality fine porcelain, the bowl weighs a little over 27lbs, and by itself without the stand it isapproximately 14.5" high while the outside of the top rim is approx. 16.25" across. The bottom foot rim is 9" across, and the earlier wood stand also included in this listing (which has a sticker labeling it made in The People's Republic of China) has a platform surface that is approx. 12.5" across. Including the decorative top protrusions of the stand's legs, the stand itself is approx. 9.5" high, and together, the pot on the stand is approx. 23.25" high. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask to ensure your complete satisfaction.
