As I recollect, we bought this in the 1980s at an antiques store in St Petersburg, Florida. We were attracted by the color, the very good painting, the composition, and the overall effect. It has held a plant, either seasonally or full time, since. It is a favorite art object for the same reasons that attracted us to it decades ago. 14.5" diameter; 12" high
