Antique Victorian Banded Agate Handle Tambour Hook - Striped Agate - 1860s:

This is an antique Victorian tambour hook from the 1860s. It features a beautiful banded agate handle with natural translucent stripes that are beautiful in the light. Tambour hooks are used for embroidery, beading, and making delicate tambour lace. It is in good vintage condition showing some wear to the metal finish normal for age and use, but no chips in the stone.
