Hello, I hope all is well with you today. Here is a terrific antique stud button. The stud button is a nice pumpkin color with a molded design of a fish head. The fish has a blue colored eye, which I believe to be made of glass. I am not sure of the type of material the stud button is made of. It appears to be made of a early plastic type composition. I believe this stud is from the late 1800's. The stud button measures .90 inches across and has a faint back mark. I can see a patent mark and there is more that is very faint but I believe it is WM WELLING. Part of the stud post top has broken off. The stud button and post appear to be very sturdy.
