Antique Japanese PT model boat. It came from a friend of mine whose brother passed away and left this to him. His brother said that he bought it In Japan in the 1950s.I don’t know the year or the manufacturer. I know it is old though. It has two built in switches in the rear that push and pull vertically. They are silver metal on the model. The insulation on the wires is fabric. I did not modify this model in any way. It’s in real good shape. The propellers turn. The gear box works fine. There is no rust. They must have used good metals back then.I have not seen one exactly like this on . I have been collecting Model boats for my whole life. I’m 65. I like Model boats that I can run in the water. With this boat being an antique, I did not want to modernize it with the latest radio gear. That would degrade it value. It’s in really good condition considering it’s around 65 years old. It may be older than me.😁
