I am listing this beautiful piece as a Japanese Sake Cup or Washing Cup. Only because I saw comps looking like this on and the internet. If I am wrong, please provide polite response. It is quite stunning and could be used as a centerpiece on your dining or living room table. It is decorated with Koi Fish in the center with Japanese characters and scenery on the outside of the bowl. It measures 7 1/2" diameter at the top and is 5" tall. There is crazing which is mostly visible on the underside of the bowl.
