For sale is a pretty neat red and yellow wood fish decoy. It has metal fins and tail. I got this from a Western Pa dealer but I have no idea where it was originally made. Looks like a 1930s or 1940s one to me. Has a great outsider art / folk art look. Would work in a modern art aesthetic too.A little less than 7 and 1/4 inches long. See can for scale.
Condition:Great surface. Has lots of usage wear. Missing most of the paint off of the face. Has rusting and scratches. The front fins are nailed to the bottom. There are two slits on the sides above them. I'm not sure if it ever had fins on the side of not in those slots. Might have. That would make the fin on the bottom a later working repair. They are certainly old with old paint. See photos and video to determine condition.
