This harpoon was purchased at an sale house in Maine in the 1960s. It has been on display in a den for decades. Very solid harpoon. Detaches with a firm tug. One of the rope ties has broken off the wood handle and the handle has a few dings. Iron spear is 45 inches long and has some amazing patina on the spade! Total length of 100 inches! Very hard to find spade design especially in this length. This piece would command attention in any room. It would make a stunning focal point in any maritime collection. Stone City Collectibles
