Exquisite Ando Jubei (marked) cloisonne vase with a landscape of a house surrounded by trees with a stream in the foreground. The coloration of this lovely vase isstunning. The soft pink in the sky is so subtle, and the tans and greens are beautiful as well. The cloisonne technique utilizes both wired (gold colored) and unwired. The lip and bottom mounts are applied silver. The interior of the vase is a vivid blue.The vase is about 7.25" tall and 7" wide at its widest point.The Ando Jubei mark is on the bottom, and there is also an impressed mark in the silver rim that I cannot make out.
Condition is very good. There are no cracks or chips, and no crazing. There is one tiny spot on the left side below shoulder of vase with a small faint scratched area. It was very difficult to photograph since its only visible with the vase held at an angle and the light hitting it just so. Needless to say, it does not detract. Some scratchesto bottom silver rim from contact with table top. Be sure to see all 17 photos.
