Here is a set of Six net patterned Japanese glass floats that are approximately 3.25 inches in diameter.
These are authentic working beach combed floats that were used in the old Japanese high seas drift net fishery, not the thin imitation reproductions.
These were working floats that had nets around them and were abraded by sand from high winds and surf while they still encapsulated by their nets. The nets disintegrated from exposure to the sea, sun, wind and sand over time and the textured net pattern on these floats is the result.
The original nets around the floats are how they were actually attached to the foreign high seas drift fishing nets,providing flotation.Some have manufacturer marks.
These are authentic glass floats that I personally beach combed on Alaska\'s distant beaches.They are the actual floats in the pictures that you are offerding on.
