Authentic Used Fishing Net Floats

A commercial fisherman gets approximately 2 years use from a fish net before acquiring a new one. The used net is then stored in old gear piles or shanties. I reclaim the nets and cut, clean, and package it myself. It is a long, tedious process and requires a crew of helpers, as a commercial net is approx. 1500 ft long, 50 ft wide and weighs over 4000 lbs. This is quality net made from super strong nylon and is not like the cheaper cotton net that you see in party stores. This netting is great for nautical themed parties, creative interior designs, outdoor patio & garden use, sea life & shell displays, restaurant decor, kid's rooms and wall hangings. It can also be used in seafood restaurants, churches, schools, and waterparks. The possibilities are endless.

These are the floats that I cut from the top of the net. They were used by commercial fishermanon1500 ft long nets. They still have some authentic rope and netting attached where we cut them from the nets. These floats aremade from hard foam and the netting & ropeare made from commercial grade nylon. Each float measures approx. 6.5" in length and 4.5" in dia. with a 1" hole through the center.
  • Includes one set of 4 floats
  • Some floats may have more netting attached than others
  • Each float measures approx. 6.5" x 4.5"
  • Total length is approx. 42 inches
  • Total weight is about 5 lbs.
