18th Century Oak Carving Of Fish, Possibly Fishmongers Sign:

Life like oak carving of a bundle of fish. This has been done by a very competent skilled carver. It has been carved to replicate four fish would look like in a fishmongers and this leads me to believe it may originally been a fishmongers trade sign.
Nice colour and patination, measurements are approximately 15 inches long, 6 inches wide.
Rare unusual carving , from the late 18th,early 19th century . Very tactile item.
