πŸ”₯ Antique Old Americana Folk Art Pheasant Hunting Dog Oil Painting, Signed 1929:
$975.00

This is a whimsical and lovelyAntique Old Americana Folk Art Pheasant Hunting Dog Oil Painting on Artist Board, depicting a charming Irish Setter, gazing in the viewer's direction while holding a pheasant in his mouth. This loyal dog looks at his master for approval, clutching the gamebird in his mouth, and is surrounded by tall grasses. Signed and dated in the lower right corner: "Ed Drill 1929." I could not find any information on this painter, but perhaps you know more about him or his work? This small gem is approximately 10 1/4 x 13 1/8 inches (including frame.) Actual artwork is approximately 9 x 12 inches. Good condition for nearly a century of age, with some light scuffing and edge wear to the original period gilded wood frame (please see photos.) Acquired in Los Angeles, California, but I suspect that this painting originates from the Northeastern or Southern States. If you like what you see, I encourage you to make an Offer.
