I have also thought it would be a good idea to have one with me while fishing. I think if I buy anything it will be a cheap harbor frieght one. That way when it gets dull I won't feel bad using my hand grinder to sharpen it. Plus if you watch any discovery channel with them in the Jungle thats all the guides are using. One because they can't afford $100 and Two because they work just fine for the job at hand.
