Representing Iowa

I "grew up" in NW Iowa where my dad taught me how to catch fish--Catfish from the little Sioux river using stink bait, bass on spinner baits on lakes and ponds, cats and gar using set lines on the Elkhorn River. Now I'm settled in East Central Ia, on different water catching fish in a different way. Mostly targeting smallmouth and trout with the fly rod...on small streams.

Enclosed a picture of a quilback carpsucker. Currently the carp are moving up Iowa's small streams out of the larger rivers to spawn. Taken em on wet flies and midges.
