First, I want to thank all those who have posted here. Smallstreams has been an oasis in a wasteland of work, travel, and raising teenagers... Thanks to all for the trips you have allowed me to share with you, the knowledge you have passed my way, and for the BS that makes us all laugh...

I am a novice fly tier, just midges, nymphs and a few laughable attempts at dry flies. I fish small streams and tail waters in East Tennessee and Western NC. When I learn to use the new camera I got for Christmas, I’ll take you along on one of my high country trips. I owe you…
