Schliske 8' 2/2 Dickerson 8014

I had Matt Schliske (http://www.bamboo-fisher.com) make me this one about four years ago. It's been used about four times. When I fish, it's usually spur of the moment, and it's really hot here, so I keep a lower end rod in my trunk. That means that this one has gone unused and has merely hung in the bag in my dark and air conditioned closet. I can't bear for it to not be used any longer. It's a beautiful rod. It's been assembled very few times - no wear on the ferrules (check the pics.)

8' two piece, two tips,
Dickerson 8014 taper,
Flamed,
Bellinger components,
Agate stripper
Bag and Tube

Matt charges $1800 for a basic custom rod these days, up to $2200 for his "normal" ones is not uncommon. I started out asking $1550 for it, bottom line is I'd like to get $1100 out of this one, shipping in the continental US is included, as are any paypal fees. Here are some pictures:

Hi GS,

that's a beautiful cane rod! You'll be sorry you sold it, once it's gone! I have recently commissioned a custom build cane rod from : Harris Fly Rods; it's a 6ft.3in, #3,weight 2,piece; and I cant wait to get my hands on it!
