    Hydropsyche Larvae

    Along with the Rhyacophila I've been feeding these to the Trout this year.







    Hook: Kamasan B420 #8, Partridge YK4A #10 & TMC 2487 #12.
    Thread: Roman Moser Powersilk, Brown.
    Tails: EP Silky Fibres, Brown.
    Shellback: Roman Moser Raffia Sheeting, Caddis Brown
    Rib: Tying thread
    Abdomen: Tan Furry Foam on #8, Sow Scud Dubbing - Light Sow Bug on #10 & #12.
    Thorax: Sow Scud Dubbing - Light Sow Bug
    Legs: Lt Brown Dun Hen.

    Abdomen: Lt Olive Furry Foam on #8, Sow Scud Dubbing - Olive on #10 & #12.
    Thorax: Sow Scud Dubbing - Olive.
    Legs: Dark Olive Grizzly hen.

    Those Hydropsyche Larvae have given me a good few Rainbows in the Tongoriro a good fish fetcher. Have Fun. Jax

    That thing looks alive.

    You are a bug artist.

    Step outside of what we do and it would be wierd to figure this thing out.
