Trout from across the pond.
A native wild brown, from this mountain stream, a well marked fish. Some difference to the next fish.
Notice the blue tint to the colour of this IRISH SEA Trout, its fresh run in from the sea, entered the stream in high water, then pushed up to the head waters, a lovely surprise, for the day. Looked well against, the grey stones of the river bank. This was a powerfull fish for its size, long & thin, to its short & fat, brothers the brown trout.
The little pool where the sea trout was caught from, Then released
Hope fully the post has turned out ok, its been a while since i posted, a little rusty, even forgot about using photo bucket, thanks gus, for the reminder, Hop you enjoy my first real post, as much as i enjoyed the day on this mountain stream.

Re: Trout from across the pond.
Those pics could have been taken in South Africa. We have very similar streams! Cool.

I guess trout streams are pretty much the same worldwide. I could certainly hout "Snap!" to many of the photos of streams posted. Will have to post some of my N.Z. streams for comparison. All I need to do Is take the camera out of my pocket and stop fishing for a minute or two. My Plan for this season. Jax

Wish mine would turn out that good! Lovely area and a beautiful Irish Stream!
I've posted a few photos on the river thread; but they're not as good and clear as yours!
Thanks for sharing them!
