I'd just like to say hello to all the BB members. My name is Dave and I live in Connecticut, where I am almost perfectly situated between the Housatonic and Farmington rivers. I'm 45 and have been fly fishing for almost 40 of those years. My latest passion has become fishing with weighted flies ala the european methods, but I like to dabble with the wets as well.

just to try to add to my stream cred a little, here's a photo of a spectacular brown I caught in a small stream from NW Connecticut. This is not truly representative of the typical fish from this stream, but as we all know, occasionally, you get a big one:

Yeah - right up the road from me - Canaan and Norfolk. There are plenty of small brook trout streams in the area, so I'm fortunate.
