    best catch

This is my new grandson Levi, He is my first grandchild and is very cute.

I got to visit him and his Mom and my son-in-law is Spokane Washington.
We got to do some fishing in Montana the week before and had a good time with the cool weather.

I had a good time on the West fork of the Bitteroot. It had some nice sized butts and browns.

We had good fun on the smaller feeder creeks. My wife got into the action as well.

They were loaded with small cutties. I got some cool underwater shots.

It is good fun to fish the small creeks with the TFO 1/2 wt rod.

We went over to Rock creek fro a couple of days and had fun with the browns, cutts and rainbows there.
We stayed at fisherman's mercantile, great affordable place.

Then we headed over to Spokane to visit the grand kid and Dean from Spokane flyfishers took us out for a day on the north fork CLA. It was a gorgeous stream with crystal clear water and willing cutties.

My wife Joy got into the action and enjoyed the feisty cutts.

Dean was a great host and I owe him a bonefishing trip when he gets out here to Hawaii.

It was a great trip with lots of nice fish but the best catch was my grandson Levi. Mems.

Looks like a catch and keep. Becoming a grandparent is one of the best things that can happen to a person. Welcome to the club. Oh, and the fishing looked great, too.
