Out & about looking for trout....

Long overnight drive........for a short 4hour morning session.
Ended up loosing every fish I hooked. They sure do fight tooth & nail when they think they're
in danger. I doff my hat to the little survivors....

Enjoyed the session nonetheless, Mother Earth laid on some fine scenery & I surprised myself
with some streamside culinary skills....

I've lost my trout stalking mojo.....

Pork satay & rainbow trout thai style. The trout was shop bought, just in case they were playing
hard to get. Finger limes, chili's, lemongrass & garlic sourced from my very own veggie patch.
Not my usual eats.....its normally cup-o-noodles !

I hear you on that one. She has a way of offsetting a not so stellar day on the water.

That 3rd picture looks a lot like one of my favorite streams half a world away.
