I enjoyed the interview. Thanks. I keep up with the Colorado folks on their FB page. Just a lurker but they certainly are an active group.
Tenkara in America is new, only three years old. Funny, we are all really new to it. I don't mean fly fishing with a Tenkara rod, I mean "Tenkara" There is quite a difference between using your fly-fishing box and fly fishing with a Tenkara rod and practicing "Tenkara"
There are actually not that many of us doing it and even far fewer of us doing it with traditional equipment imported from Japan.
We are still figuring it out over here.
Looks like Jason is on the right path too.
