Any Washington State stream fishermen?

I live in Western Washington and was wondering if there are any folks who share this beautiful state and would like to provide some location tips for me to do some stream fishing.

I fish lakes now and have fished the salts many,many,many moons ago. As a young boy, my Dads patient used to take us fishing in a stream like area ( I believe it was the White River ). I've always found stream fishing to be my favorite and now that my boys are older, it's time to get them involved.

I'm a W WA stream fisherman & here's a few tips to get you started:

One of the most popular are the North, South & Middle Forks of the Snoqualimie. The higher upstream you go, the smaller the water gets. Also it really only fishes from July 1 thru Oct. Lots of public access points along I-90 and other major roads. Fish run smaller (12 inches is a large fish) but are wild & readily take dries. There are also many creeks/small rivers that feed into the upper snoqualmie that also have fish, but require some hiking/bushwacking.

The upper Yakima river (above the Cle Elum confluence) is less than an hour away from Bellevue & fishes like a stream - plus there are some fish approaching 20inches.

Finally, in the past Issaquah Creek has been open to fishing for kids under 15 yrs old (need to check the 2012/13 regs). You can wade along side (tie flies, direct & net) but you can't hold a rod. I've never seen anyone else fish that creek with their kids. There are trout in that creek.
