That's great! Living, as I do, where the water is ice covered at least 5 months of the year, that video sure got me thinking!
I never bring my fly rod to a frozen lake, because I figured that the hole in the ice would have to be twice the length of the rod. Who knew!!!

Good practice for casting, you wouldn't spook the fish standing next to the hole. I still think the whole leverage principle would be pretty weak. Mems.
I love ice fishing, I used to go fishing with my dad when I was a little kid and that period is quite an important on in my memories. Would love to go again.
