Because the streams here are closed until April I have been scouting the fjords on the east coast (which is only a 45 min drive from where I live on the west coast) a lot recently. I have found a particular spot where I have been having some excellent fly fishing for sea run brown trout the past couple of weeks, culminating in a trip yesterday morning resulting in about 20 fish; most of them were bright silver 16 inchers and three or so much bigger post spawn fish recovering from the recently passed spawn. All in all a great hour and a half before Christmas eve.
Merry Christmas to everyone!
